If you are new to a skincare routine the first thing you need to do is establish what skin type you are and what your skin needs.  Do you have oily skin, dry skin or is your skin normal?  If you are not sure what your skin type is, here is a good way to work it out;

Dry skin is usually quite tight, sometimes flaky and lacks a natural sheen you get with natural oils

Oily skin will usually feel a bit greasy to touch, shiny and may have blemishes and/or spots or breakouts

Combination skin has both oily areas plus others that are normal or dry. Usually there will be a ‘T section’ (forehead and nose) that is oilier than the rest of the face

Normal skin will have a natural healthy look

Choose a daily face wash suitable for your skin type.

If you have combination skin, pay extra attention to the areas that are more greasy and perhaps use a little less moisturiser on that area.

We recommend a relaxing face mask at regular intervals too.

Establish a good daily skin care regime involving a daily face wash for your skin type and an appropriate moisturiser

With any skin issues such as psoriasis, dermatitis or acne it is important to seek medical advice to ensure you are not allergic to any of our ingredients.  Whilst we do not claim to help with any of those condition, some clients have reported marked improvements by using them.  Please see the testimonials on this website.

As with any skin issue, make sure you are not aggravating skin with external factors such as food you are eating or washing detergents for example.

In short, yes it can.  There are many factors that effect your skin.  These can include diet, allergies, stress, diet, the weather, the type of water in your local area, the amount of water you drink, hormones and your overall well-being.

Some people say their skin also changes by the season. In warmer weather their skin can be normal and then drier in the winter months when the cold and heating can dehydrate their skin.

You will find instructions on our products and under each of the products on the website. When in doubt, test and measure.  Try a bit and see how you go.  You may find if you have very dry skin for example that you need to use a second application of moisturiser.  After all, everyone’s face — from size to absorbency — is different.

Please check our products for the list of ingredients before you buy.  Should you be in any doubt, please consult your Doctor.

Our aim is to be and remain as paperless as possible.  We only use paper if there is no alternative.  We even omit paper receipts/invoices from our packages – your email is confirmation of your purchase.  Should you need a paper copy, please contact us.

Breakouts can be a result of anything from food you eat, to stress or an unhealthy skincare routine.

  1. Drink plenty of clean, fresh water. Your skin is the largest organ and needs plenty of hydration to keep fresh looking
  2. Get plenty of good quality, uninterrupted sleep
  3. Eat well. Choose healthier, unprocessed fresh food
  4. Stress is a major contributor to many health issues including skin problems. Whatever you can control and change to make your life less stressful, do
